FAQ :: Payment Methods
The payment method for an order cannot be amended once the order has been submitted to Smooth Baths. To chose an alternative payment method, you will need to cancel your existing order and place a new order with your preferred payment method.
Please note that when cancelling credit card orders, it can take up to 3 days for the payment authorization to be removed by your credit card company. As debit cards are charged at time of ordering, Smooth Baths will need to process a refund if you decide to cancel your order.
The security of Smooth Baths online store servers is monitored to prevent any unauthorized disclosure or use of credit card numbers and to protect the confidentiality of your personal information.
The Smooth Baths uses the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) industry standard, the highest level of security available to us today for web-secured online applications.
SSL relies on a pair of public and private key technologies provided by Nazwa S.A., using single domain validation called NazwaSSL, and based on a 128 to 256-bit encryption algorithm.

Our bank will automatically debit your account for the value of your order when the order has been placed and accepted by Smooth Baths.
When you place your order, Smooth Baths requests payment authorization to charge the order amount from your credit card company. Once we have received approval, Smooth Baths reserves the amount on your card. In other words: your card will be charged when order is placed online.
Your credit card company may have declined authorization to debit your card due to one of the below mentioned reasons. If such a situation arises, we will inform you of this via email:
1. there may be a credit limit on your account
2. the incorrect card type, number or expiry date was accidentally selected when placing the order
3. there were dashes or spaces in the account number that could not be recognized
4. a simple administrative step taken when the card holder is not present to sign for the transaction
5. your card may be recently issued and has not yet been activated
If your order was not authorized online, please confirm you have correctly entered your credit card details and place your order again. If you still have difficulties please contact your credit card company to make them aware of your order.
If you have already received an order number but were informed by Smooth Baths that your card was declined, to prevent further delay of your order, please contact your card provider to advise them that you have placed an order with Smooth Baths so that the payment can be processed.
Your billing address is the registered address that your credit card company holds. Please ensure that your billing address is correct at the time of placing your order.
Once your order has been accepted by Smooth Baths your billing address cannot be changed as it would have already been authorized by your credit card company.
If your billing and shipping addresses differ and you are paying by credit/debit card, you may be asked for additional documentation before Smooth Baths can process your order.
Please note we can only deliver within the same country that you are ordering from.
Some of the card issuers like American Express requires you to register the shipping address with them if it differs from the card holder’s address they have on record.
Smooth Baths will accept most credit/debit cards from within European Union and many countries outside of EU. However you may be asked to provide additional documentation before Smooth Baths can process your order.
Before Smooth Baths can fully process your order, we must receive payment and clear the funds through your bank. Orders paid for by wire transfer require up to 5 business days for payment processing.
To ensure your order is not delayed, please provide your name, surname, bank transfer reference number and web order number with your additional payment information. Your bank transfer reference number can be found on your bank statement for order payment you have placed with us.
Orders will be automatically cancelled if your payment is not received within 10 calendar days of the date the orders are placed. Bank transfer details will be sent to your email account used during ordering process.
Once you have made your payment as per the instructions on our order acknowledgement email, please allow up to 5 business days for Smooth Baths to receive payment. As soon as payment has been received, we will begin to process your order. Please ensure to include the exact amount and payment reference number to avoid delays. Smooth Baths will send you an order confirmation email as soon as we have received your payment.
In the case of any additional information required by you, please notify us immediately by telephone or by sending us an e-mail here.
Ensure to include the payment reference number on your payment and follow the instructions on your order acknowledgement email carefully.
